He was painter, sculpture, architect, and poet during the renaissance. He was asked by Pope Julius ll to paint the ceiling of the Sistine chapel and in 1512, the Sistine chapel was finished and more 300 figures were present on the wall. He sculpted the pieta and statue of David and made many poems like the Celestial love and the Dante.
